Report your needs

The first steps to fixing equipment problems are to identify them and report them formally to your employer. Follow the Health & Safety Executive approved assessment checklist and generate a report on the state of your environemnts that you can submit to your employer. If you are using a Staaff account provided by your employer, the report is automatically delivered to an appropriate manager and you can see the progress of each tracked issue that the report revealed.

How it works

You choose the balance between safety and effort that is right for your organization. Choose how frequently staff should perform training and carry out assessments. Choose the balance between manager involvement and self-assessment. Configure links to internal policies and procedures for issues that can be easily resolved.

Upload a list of users, or configure them individually or invite users to self-register.

Training

Employees learn about best practice for safe use of DSE equipment, their rights and responsibilities through a self-paced video training with formative assessment questions to ensure that they absorbing the information. You can see who has undertaken the training and when they are due to repeat it, according to the policies you set.

Assessment

For each environment the employee uses DSE equipment the Staaff platform schedules periodic questionnaire, to verify that each element of their environment is safe and appropriate.

Track issues

Any problems identified by the assessment or otherwise reported by employees are assigned to a manager for resolution. Fixes and conversations are tracked to ensure that problems are not forgotten and their resolution is recorded.

Analyze patterns

What issues are most common? Are home workers environments less safe than office ones? Which users have the most issues. See systematic problems or trends via always up-to-date, easy-to-read, charts.
